Why romance?

People often ask me what's my obsession with romance novels and movies. It's pretty simple. I love the happily ever after. If a book doesn’t have a good ending, I feel like I’ve wasted my time because I read to escape my problems. I want to know good always triumphs over evil, and love conquers all--not be bummed because all was lost. Another huge reason I like romances is because I love watching the romance unfold and, of course, the euphoria of falling in love. Besides, it puts me in the mood. And my hubby likes that ;-)

Ever After
Enchanted
While You Were Sleeping
Somewhere in Time
Jane Eyre
And of course, all the Jane Austen movies; Emma, Pride & Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park

I'd list my favorite romance novels but that would take a week.
