Giveaway!!!

It's to time celebrate! My Regency romance, The Guise of a Gentleman, WON the very prestigious Golden Quill Award!! Yay!!!!!

So, to celebrate, I'm giving away a free magnetic book button pictured below. It's the coolest thing; it's a book mark that is magnetized so you can mark the exact line where you left off. Great, right? You can't see it very well from the picture, but the decoration is a lady in a red gown dancing with a man in a suit. Hey, it was as Regency looking as I could find.

And, just because I'm so happy, I'm also giving away a free ebook copy of my award-winning novel (I soooo love saying that!) The Guise of a Gentleman.

All you have to do is leave a comment telling me if you'd rather have the cool book mark or the awesome ebook, and you'll be entered in my random drawing. Oh, and be sure to leave your email address so I can contact you directly.

Want more chances to win? Go to my author page and press the like button at the top of the page. If you already are a fan, tell me so in your comment and you'll still get another chance to win.

Good luck, and thanks for celebrating with me!

Win a free magnetic book mark

Give away this weekend!!! Winner will be announced Monday.

Win this gorgeous magnetic bookmark. BTW, if you can't see it clearly, that's a man in a suit dancing with a lady in a lavender dress...not quite Regency, but it was the closest I could find. It's a really cool magnetic bookmark that sticks to itself through the page and will mark the exact line if you want.

To enter the drawing, go here, read the EXCERPT from The Stranger She Married, and answer this question: what is Cole accused of doing?

Email answers to donnahatch29@gmail.com and put Cole's Crime in the subject line.

Want more chances to win?

Follow my blog and leave a comment telling me so. If you're already a follower, tell me that, too.

"Like" my author page on Facebook, and leave a comment in this blog telling me you like my author page.

Follow me on Twitter and, you guessed it, leave a comment in this blog telling me you're following my tweets.

No purchase necessary, but if you're intrigued by my book, feel free to buy it ;-). Available in both ebook and paperback here. I know, I know, not real subtle, huh?

Winner will be announced Monday 11 April, 2011.

Why Do Women Read Romance Novels

Every once in a while, people ask me why I read romance novels. It usually surprises me because I think it's obvious. But maybe not. I read romance for several reasons:

*I am guaranteed a good ending
*I love the relationship and personal growth of the characters
*I love reliving the euphoria of falling in love which I feel that every time I read a romance novel
*It puts me in a good mood and I feel energized as if I can face the world again
*My husband likes the 'effect' it has on me ;-)

Why do you read romance novels? Let a comment and I'll enter you in a drawing for an e-book copy of my newest Regency Romance, The Guise of a Gentleman.
